I've bought a new car today.

It's an "X" reg Ford Escort Flight 1.8 Diesel TDi

Front electric windows and a digital mile counter!!!! :D

I'll pop some pictures up if i remember (and iCraig lends me his camera :D) its very tidy but smells like a pot factory. I made sure that the chassis number was the same in the engine bay as else where. Once i get the fabreeze out though it should be ok :)

I need a road trip now though, if I can get in contact with my friend in Sheffield I might head that way.

I haven't mentioned the price yet so i figure I wont for a bit, what do you guys reckon a tidy escort is worth.

Sure i'm getting it serviced tomorrow so the mechanic will give me a pretty good idea... I'm pretty sure i've just invalidated my bet with insider information :D

I had a J reg Orion many moons ago.

The Carb needed regular cleaning, the suspension was fucked and i finished her off by blowing a massive whole in the diff and dumping the oil from the gear box. Bastard thing.

I had a W Plater 1.8 petrol hatchback.

Only problem was it was that stupid rosso red. Problem being when you washed it, if you didn't tcut, wax + colour coded polish, the fucking colour would fade.

I did have a tasty sound setup in tharr though.

It was a Ford. That says it all.

Saying that I had a little Fiesta as my second car, anytime it went wrong I used to kick it to get it run again. Worked everytime :D
