What are you reading?

Yet again dont know where to put a thread as I thought it could be a slightly serious subject unless you are reading Beano/The Star/Penthouse

but regarding books I am reading 'Death An Interesting Journey' by Stanley Bedford which I read when I was about 20 but lent it out and was never returned

Last week I read 'Ghosting' by Jennie Erdal (not about ghosts) and the week before that 'Marley And Me' by John Grogan (has anyone seen the new film for this book?)
How about you guys? anything interesting?
Oh yes, and scores: DAIJ 7, Ghosting 8 and M&M 8

Bruce Schneier is ace. He's usually at Infosec so I pop along when he gives a talk. Don't think he's gonna be there though this year, which is a shame.

Do you sign up to his mailing list? His emails are a long read but almost always worth the effort.

As for me, I'm not currently reading anything... except Big Jugs Monthly. But that's more a case of looking at the pictures as there aren't usually many words to read.

They can be quite interesting once you can read the words as well as look at the pictures

Tbh though I'm not much of a book reader but I bought Lord of the Rings a few weeks back and i'm quite enjoying it

EG tends to stick to books with chewable pages and no long words.

Been working my way through the Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris. 4 books in so taking a break. I have Hitch hickers guide and the count of monte cristo (but that's a bit fucking long for me) to break up before i go into the 5 Charlaine book.
I was also reading the twilight series, but got about 25 pages into the 3rd one and went 'nononononono enough is enough' and stopped. I'll no doubt go back to it.

) anyone know what the film is like?
I also got her 'The Boy In The Striped Pajamas' it was so good that she read the whole book in a day! so I got her the DVD it was an excellent film.

The film is shite, the book wasn't that great, but the film is worse. THe only reason i kept watching was Kristin Stewart

I've had the film for the boy for a while and not watched it. Read the book then passed it around everyone i know. It was MetalfacedMark that told me to buy it as well lol

A lot of like your fiction dont you? although it is a nice way to escape reality for a while! I prefer factual stuff like memoirs/autobigraphies or historical books and documentary works.I cant get enough of the real thing!

I used to only read Non fction. Fav book ever is a man on the moon.
